The North West Shared Services Forum is a successful on and offline business community for those leading and working in the Shared Services community. Re-launched back in 2005 the Forum has grown to in excess of 50 member organisations whose representatives attend and contribute to its success. Members enjoy wide ranging benefits and the opportunity to knowledge-share and network both through regular events and a website that actively encourages learning, debate and the sharing of information. Members pay a joining fee and annual subscription which entitles them to a raft of member benefits. Repeat membership stands at over 95%, testament to the value our members put on membership. |
The Steering Group includes senior representatives from Rolls-Royce Plc, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Royal Bank of Scotland, AstraZeneca, Bupa, SPX and is supported by MIDAS, The Hackett Group and Sensei UKE. This group oversees the governance of the Forum and ensures members interests are best served at all times in every aspect of the Forum's work. The Forum is keen to ensure that events meet the needs of specific professionals and have devised a programme of events with this in mind including a highly successful annual conference which takes place in September. A series of specific network groups is open to personnel of member organisations that are specifically interested in particular areas of activity– currently these include People Management Network, Purchase to Pay Network, Helpdesk Network, Credit Control Network and the new HR SSC Network . There is always scope to develop new networks or one-off events or sessions on specific topics and the Forum encourages such developments. In addition, Leaders’ Forum Meetings are tailored to the needs of those professionals leading and running SSCs. The Forum is run in partnership with MIDAS, Manchesters Inward Investment Agency and should you have any queries in relation to its work or membership then please contact Tracy Bosanko on 07725 203620 or e-mail tracy@tbpr.co.uk. If you have any comments or questions about the Forum we would like to hear from you . |
